Helping at-risk children and families in Greene County

Only a small portion of degreed social workers are employed by the nationwide as well as local Missouri Children’s Division (CD), which provides services to at-risk children and families.
In an effort to address this issue, Missouri State University’s School of Social Work (SSW) received a grant to provide a partnership between the school and the Missouri CD.

Social work program receives continued funding

The Missouri State University School of Social Work received a continuation of the Title IV-E MSW program grant. This will provide approximately $31,000 to the department to cover costs for eligible students.
