Which energy bars are truly healthy?

Registered dietitian Natalie Allen shares insights for choosing the best options.

Energy bars are a staple snack for many, but not all are created equal. Some provide balanced nutrition, while others are closer to candy bars. 

Registered dietitian Natalie Allen explains the best energy bars are made from wholesome ingredients like whole grains, nuts and dried fruits. These options offer a balanced mix of carbohydrates, protein, fiber and healthy fats for sustained energy.
