Students receive Pepsi-Cola scholarship

Six undergraduate students at Missouri State University recently received recognition for their commitment to the university’s public affairs mission. Each student was awarded a Pepsi-Cola Public Affairs Scholarship in the amount of $1,250. The students were selected based on their involvement in public affairs activities and voluntary service both on and off campus.

Victims, offenders meet face to face to move past crime

Through the Center for Dispute Resolution’s Restorative Justice Programs, Professor Dr. Charlene Berquist hopes to offer victims, offenders and other at-risk youths the opportunity to build the skills needed to pull themselves out of a justice system that may swallow them up.

Maroon Minute recognizes the communication program

At the Oct. 31 football game, the Maroon Minute honored the communication department. The department of communication was recently named a top program in the region by claiming the 2015 Outstanding Undergraduate Communication Program Award from the Central States Communication Association.
