Maroon Minute recognizes the communication program

At the Oct. 31 football game, the Maroon Minute honored the communication department. The department of communication was recently named a top program in the region by claiming the 2015 Outstanding Undergraduate Communication Program Award from the Central States Communication Association.

The department’s resume also includes the Center for Dispute Resolution, an impressive debate program and a commitment to ethical leadership, a pillar of the Missouri State public affairs mission.

The Central States Communication Association is an academic organization of communication professionals that spans 13 states, including top schools in Illinois, Michigan, Kansas and Missouri.

The department of communication is a point of pride for Missouri State University.
