The 30-30-3 gut health routine is a nutrition framework focused on 30 grams of protein at the first meal, 30 grams of fiber per day and three servings of probiotic foods daily.
According to dietitians, this routine is good for your body because it can support digestion, energy and overall gut health.
In a recent Verywell Health article, registered dietitian Natalie Allen notes the routine encourages balanced eating and could make a real difference, especially when it comes to the fiber goal because most Americans do not consume enough fiber.
Allen is also a clinical associate professor of nutrition and dietetics in the School of Health Sciences at Missouri State University.
