Protein powder: do you need it every day?

Registered dietitian Jaime Gnau shares some insights.

Many people nowadays add protein powder to items they consume like smoothies, coffee and baked goods. Is that safe and is it needed?

In a recent Martha Stewart article, registered dietitian Jaime Gnau explains who should and should not consume protein powder.  

Gnau is also a clinical assistant professor of nutrition and dietetics in the School of Health Sciences at Missouri State University.
