The truth behind TikTok nutrition trends

Registered dietitian Natalie Allen shares what’s fact and what’s fiction.

Nutrition advice is everywhere, but not all of it is accurate.   

Registered dietitian Natalie Allen explains in a recent Better Homes & Gardens article how some popular TikTok nutrition trends are not backed by science. For example, bone broth being a magical cure all or you should drink a gallon of water a day. 

Allen is also a clinical associate professor of nutrition and dietetics in the School of Health Sciences at Missouri State University.
