Registered dietitian Natalie Allen explains why both fresh and dried dates are good.

Are there nutritional differences between fresh and dried dates and is one type better over the other?  

In a recent Verywell Health article, registered dietitian Natalie Allen highlights the benefits of both. 

Allen is also a clinical associate professor of nutrition and dietetics in the School of Health Sciences at Missouri State University.
