Veggie burgers can be a good source of fiber and antioxidants. But they aren’t always the healthier option.
In a recent Martha Stewart article, registered dietitian Dr. Daniela Novotny explained that some veggie burgers are highly processed and low in protein. Novotny is also a senior instructor of nutrition and dietetics in the School of Health Sciences at Missouri State University.
