The College of Health and Human Services continues to develop programs and projects for the advancement of the community and surrounding areas.

• Drs. Mary Ann Jennings and Michelle Day, professors of social work, received a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the amount of $147,000 for a continuing contract with the SUNY Research Foundation. SUNY works with the academic and business leadership of campuses to support research and discovery.
• This year’s White Coat Ceremony honoring physician assistant graduates at Missouri State University was made possible with a grant from the Arnold P. Gold Foundation. Physicians assistants studies department head Dr. Steven Dodge and Sharon Giboney, clinical assistant professor, received an award of $3,000 for preparation of the celebratory event.
