Missouri State University named Matt Morris as the new vice president for administrative services. The appointment was approved by the Missouri State University Board of Governors at its November Executive Committee meeting.
In recognition of his long-standing involvement with and support of Missouri State University, Norm Shealy will receive the 2015 Bronze Bear Award.
President Smart has been elected to Council on Public Higher Education in Missouri (COPHE).
Clifton M. “Clif” Smart III has received a strong evaluation from the Board of Governors for his work as president of Missouri State University. As a result, Smart was rewarded with a four-year extension to his contract, so that his term will continue through June 30, 2022.
The new fiscal year on July 1 will bring with it staff changes and reorganization in the office of Missouri State University President Clifton M. Smart III. The changes involve two new administrators and three current ones.
