Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month offers a glimpse into the contributions, influence and enriching traditions of AAPI people.Â
This April, Missouri State University provides a supportive space for the Springfield community to join together, become educated and celebrate AAPI Heritage Month.Â
To kick things off, an Art Expo will take place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on April 4Â in the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC).Â
AAPI students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to display their works of art in the MRC as a walkthrough experience. Â
The types of art expected to be on display include:Â Â

- Photography.Â
- Resin art.Â

This will be a panel discussion among a group of Missouri State students. They will speak about their experiences and answer questions the community may have. Â

The hospitality leadership department will provide a virtual food demonstration of how to create a mouthwatering Pho dish.  Â
