Start-up @ The eFactory class encourages student entrepreneurship

Missouri State and Springfield Public Schools partnered together to create the new blended class.

February 17, 2015 by Strategic Communication

Missouri State University and Springfield Public Schools partnered together to present a new blended class for high school juniors called Start-up @ The eFactory.

Over the course of the semester, students will use a variety of design approaches to create an innovative, new product or service concept for the Springfield area with possible application on a larger scale. While most of their discussions and writing will be done online, students will meet and interact monthly with local entrepreneurs at The eFactory, a business incubator located within Missouri State University’s Robert W. Plaster Center for Free Enterprise and Business Development.

Representatives from Springfield Public Schools and Missouri State discuss the program.

More information is available on the Springfield Public Schools website.
