Small Business and Technology Development Center receives continued funding
Rayanna Anderson, director of the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), received a renewed grant of $140,138 from the United States Small Business Administration for the purpose of continuing and strengthening SBTDC services.
Grant funds will allow the center to provide consultation and training services for businesses in 16 southwest Missouri counties with the goal of positively impacting existing and prospective businesses.
The SBTDC consolidates a variety of services and products, integrating available resources to businesses through the public, private and educational sectors. Some of the services the SBTDC provides include loan packaging assistance, strategic financial analysis, business planning, marketing plans and training seminars on a variety of business, marketing, and finance topics.
“The MSU SBTDC is extremely proud of the economic impact and educational results that we have been able to achieve throughout the more than 30 years that our local center has been in existence,” said Anderson.
