Faculty participates in international chemistry conference
Dr. Nikolay Gerasimchuk, professor of chemistry, attended the 40th biannual International Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ICCC) in Valencia, Spain, in September. The ICCC is the longest-running coordination chemistry conference series and is attended by more than 700 scientists from across the world.
Gerasimchuk served as a judge in the Multifunctional Materials and Coordination Polymers poster display event. He also gave two presentations entitled “Light-insensitive Silver(I) Cyanoximates: Properties and Remarkable Applications” and “First Bis-Cyanoximes: New Versatile Multidentate Building Blocks for MOFs.”
