Faculty receives grant to fund research on Soluplus applications in topical gels

Dr. Alan Schick, head of the department of chemistry, received a grant for $5,000 from BASF, Corp. for his research on Soluplus applications in topical gels.

The project aims to determine whether Soluplus has potential as a gelling agent in pharmaceutical products.

The College of Natural and Applied Sciences incorporates more than 20 undergraduate and 13 graduate programs along with one cooperative program offered through a partnership with Missouri S&T.
