Board of Governors elects new officers for 2012-13 academic year
The Board of Governors for Missouri State University elected officers during its regular meeting today (Aug. 3). Gordon Elliott, Springfield, was re-elected chair of the Board. Orvin Kimbrough, St. Louis, was elected vice chair. Steve Foucart, interim chief financial officer; and John McAlear, staff emeritus, were elected Board treasurer and secretary, respectively.
Elliott is CEO of Elliott Lodging and has served on the Board of Governors since 2007. Kimbrough is executive vice president for United Way of Greater St. Louis and has served on the Board since 2009.
The executive committee of the Board will be Cathy Smith of Trenton, Elizabeth Bradbury of Center, and Kimbrough.
