Missouri State University awarded 2,824 degrees to students in spring 2025.   

Crunching the numbers   

Students earned a total of 1,958 bachelor’s degrees, 736 master’s degrees, eight specialist degrees and a record-high 122 doctorate degrees.  

Past the standard expectations, the university recognized 63 students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.     

Several students also received scholastic honors:   

• 221 students graduated summa cum laude, with a GPA of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.  
• 256 students graduated magna cum laude, with a GPA of 3.75-3.89.    
• 421 students graduated cum laude, with a GPA of 3.5-3.74.
