Exhibit, activities planned for 800th anniversary of Magna Carta

Magna Carta: Enduring Legacy 1215-2015 will be on display Oct. 12-23 in the Duane G. Meyer Library.

MagnaCarta_title_4wide_300ppiIn celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association is sponsoring a national traveling exhibit about the important document. The exhibit, hosted at Missouri State University, was curated by the Law Library of Congress and produced by the American Bar Association.

Magna Carta: Enduring Legacy 1215-2015 will be on display Oct. 12-23 in the Duane G. Meyer Library.

Many different local organizations have also planned events in conjunction with the exhibit.
