MSU/OTC partnership expands to Waynesville

Program offers a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice

June 8, 2015 by Strategic Communication

Beginning fall of 2015, Missouri State University will offer a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the Ozarks Technical Community College campus in Waynesville at 600 GW Lane.

Interested OTC students may meet with Missouri State transfer advisers to develop a transfer degree completion plan, including application and registration, and to answer questions concerning financial aid. Advisers will be available in the OTC-Waynesville lobby on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. by appointment.

“This is a major step forward for our continuing partnership with OTC,” said MSU Lebanon/Waynesville Campus Coordinator Gib Adkins. “Students will find a majority of courses taught at the center in Waynesville by Missouri State faculty. It’s a win-win for all involved, especially students.”

While OTC-Waynesville currently offers criminal justice classes, now students can expand and complete their pursuit of a criminal justice degree at MSU, all in the same building.

A new bachelor’s degree in general studies will also be offered on a personalized basis by working with MSU advisers.

For additional information on the programs and registering for classes, contact Gib Adkins at (417) 532-0518 or email GibAdkins@MissouriState.edu.
