Video conferencing and chat platforms, such as Zoom and Skype have increased in popularity in recent times. However, there are good reasons to be wary of the technology, according to experts.

Dr. S. Berlin Brahnam, professor in the department of information technology and cybersecurity at Missouri State University, highlights some of their negative impact to The New York Times.
