More male teachers needed in the classroom

Dr. David Hough explains why boys need male teachers as role models to USA Today.

There is a shortage of male teachers in the United States – especially in elementary schools.

This trend is unfortunately negative for boys as they lack positive role models in the classroom.

Dr. David Hough, dean of the College of Education at Missouri State University, explains to USA Today how children may benefit from male teachers.
