Missouri State University awarded 460 degrees to students during summer 2026.    

Crunching the numbers 

Students earned a total of 291 bachelor’s degrees, 147 master’s degrees and two specialist degrees. Bears also completed 20 doctorate degrees.  

Past the standard expectations, the university recognized two students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.      

Several students also received scholastic honors:    

• 11 students graduated summa cum laude, with GPAs of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.    
• 17 students graduated magna cum laude, with GPAs of 3.75-3.89.    
• 39 students graduated cum laude, with GPAs of 3.5-3.74.     

Summer 2026 graduates are invited to participate in the fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 11  at Great Southern Bank Arena.
