Tourism is a major driver of economic development worldwide, and it affects not only businesses but also communities, cultures and the environment.

With the launch of the new interdisciplinary tourism management degree, Missouri State University is preparing students to contribute meaningfully to tourism development that benefits both destinations and the people who live there.

Dr. Tina Liang, professor in the School of Hospitality and Agricultural Leadership, shares with Show Me Today more about the landmark program and how it’s opening doors for students.
