Missouri State University awarded 498 degrees to students during  summer 2025.    

Crunching the numbers   

Students earned a total of 297 bachelor’s degrees, 176 master’s degrees and four specialist degrees. Bears also completed 21 doctorate degrees.     

Past the standard expectations, the university recognized four students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.      

Several students also received scholastic honors:   

• 17 students graduated summa cum laude, with GPAs of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.    

• 18 students graduated magna cum laude, with GPAs of 3.75-3.89.    

• 49 students graduated cum laude, with GPAs of 3.5-3.74.     

Summer 2025 graduates will participate in the fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 12 at Great Southern Bank Arena.
