Thanks to its thousands of supporters, the Missouri State University Foundation received nearly $31 million in gifts and pledges in fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025).
The foundation raised $24,041,620 in cash and in-kind gifts for Missouri State from 19,707 generous donors. The foundation also recorded an additional $3,856,329 and $3,084,641 in pledges and deferred gift commitments, respectively.
“This was another great year for the MSU Foundation, and we’re very thankful to every donor who contributed,” said Brent Dunn, executive director of the MSU Foundation.
“Our alumni and friends continue to make our university better and private gifts are critical in shaping our future. Thank you to all who gave for making a difference.”
The gifts went toward things, such as:
- The Clifton M. Smart III University Advancement Center
- The Greenwood Interior Renewal Project
- New academic scholarships
- Program, capital and faculty support
Record of success
For the past eight years, the foundation has received more than $20 million per year in financial support. Since the foundation began in 1981, it has raised more than $510 million for Missouri State.
