The Missouri State University Foundation continues its record-breaking tradition, this year to the tune of $32 million.
“Our supporters have seen how the needs continue to grow, and they have blown us away with their generosity yet again,” said Brent Dunn, executive director of the Missouri State University Foundation.
In Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2021–June 30, 2022), nearly 19,000 alumni and friends of the university contributed $32,151,319 in gifts.
That shatters the previous record (set in FY21) by almost $7 million.
Major impact on MSU
The funds:
- Create student scholarships.
- Renovate and build facilities.
- Support faculty endeavors.
- Make growth possible.
“I am in awe of what we can accomplish when the community of Missouri State supporters gather together,” said President Clif Smart.
“Gifts like these provide greater access to higher education, improve opportunities for students and faculty, and allow us to dream big of what the future of MSU should be.”
Record of success
For each of the past five years, the foundation raised more than $20 million in financial support.
