Briar A. Douglas is the newest member of the Missouri State University Board of Governors.
Douglas replaces student governor William (Billy) Miller, whose term expired Dec. 31, 2019.
“I want to thank Billy for his service to the board,” Missouri State President Clif Smart said. “I’m looking forward to working with Briar, a student who’s been involved on campus and cares deeply about the university.”
Douglas’s term begins immediately
Douglas is a graduate student enrolled in the student affairs in higher education program. He graduated from Missouri State in May with a bachelor’s degree in administrative management.
His term begins immediately and ends Dec. 31, 2021.
