When should you pay with cash instead of a card?

Financial planning expert Dr. James Philpot explains.

Many people carry very little cash with them and prefer paying for their purchases with a credit or debit card.

Dr. James Philpot, certified financial planner and associate professor of finance and general business at Missouri State University, shares with Reader’s Digest a few instances when cash payment is best.
