2019 donations provide crucial support for MSU.

July 12, 2019 by Strategic Communication

What would you do with over $20 million?

Missouri State University can answer that question, thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends. They donated $20,083,060 to the MSU Foundation in Fiscal Year 2019.

This is the second year in a row gifts surpassed $20 million.

“The money we received this year is crucial to the continuing development of the university,” said Brent Dunn, vice president of university advancement. “We are grateful for the continued support, and look forward to bettering the MSU experience for everyone who comes through our campus.”

Donations to the foundation support student scholarships and programs, faculty research and facilities enhancements.

Another $4.2 million in deferred gift commitments were established in FY19.
