Neo-expressionist artist Hunt Slonem has had solo exhibitions on every continent except Antarctica. His artwork is now on display, and for sale, in Springfield, Missouri.
More than 20 of Hunt’s paintings are on exhibit until Oct. 13 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on the Missouri State University campus. The Missouri State music department will receive 20 percent of any sales made during the exhibit’s visit in Springfield.
Exhibit hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 7.

This exhibition is a direct result of the commissioning of the June S. Hamra portrait by Missouri State University in conjunction with the dedication of the June S. Hamra Recital Hall in Ellis Hall.
The Harmon-Meek Gallery in Naples, Florida, provided this exhibition. The gallery has previously lent Slonem exhibitions to about a dozen museums nationwide.
