Each year, the Missouri State University Alumni Association recognizes individuals for their extraordinary achievements.
This year, the Outstanding Alumni Award was presented to two alumni:
- Stan Lippelman has worked in marketing for nearly 20 years and is the marketing vice president for Bass Pro Shops.
- Monte Kuklenski is the senior vice president of facilities and stage services for the FOX Network. He’s in charge of sets and on-camera looks for FOX productions.
There are also two recipients of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award:
- Keela Davis is the coordinator for the Democratic Republic of Congo adoption and humanitarian aid program and delivers food, medicine and supplies there.
- Deidre Goodwin is an accomplished actress who was in the Broadway production and film adaptation of “Chicago.”
The Alumni Award for Excellence in Public Affairs was presented to Dr. Cindy Baker – a therapist, life coach, civil and family mediator, speaker, educator and author.
The Award of Appreciation was presented to Dr. Denny Pilant, who served as head of the political science department and acting dean of the College of Humanities and Public Affairs.
The success of these and thousands of other alumni are a point of pride for Missouri State University.
