The Board of Governors for Missouri State University elected new officers during its regular meeting today (Oct. 17). Stephen Hoven, St. Louis, was elected chair. Dr. Peter Hofherr, St. James, was elected vice chair. Steve Foucart, chief financial officer; and John McAlear, staff emeritus, were elected Board treasurer and secretary, respectively.

Hoven is corporate vice president for public affairs for SSM Health Care.

Hofherr is CEO of the St. James Winery.

The terms for the new officers will begin Jan. 1, 2015.
