Rick Breault, reading, foundations and technology professor, recently received an award through the prestigious Fulbright program.

The program offers selected students and faculty members the opportunity to study and research abroad. He will spend one semester teaching courses in Chisinau, Moldova.

During his time in Moldova, Professor Breault will be expected to make a meaningful contribution to his host university as well as do research to help Moldova teachers prepare young people for living in a democracy.

This is his second Fulbright award. During his first award he went to Hungary, where he said the experience changed him as a person.

Maroon Minutes highlight Missouri State University’s points of pride: the accomplishments of our faculty, staff, students and supporters. Each Maroon Minute first airs during a home football or basketball game.
