Web series receives nominations in international awards ceremony
“Epilogue,” the Missouri State University student-produced online Web series, was nominated for two awards at the International Academy Web Television (IAWTV) Awards held Jan. 8 in Las Vegas.
Tyler Durham, a junior music composition major at MSU and “Epilogue” music composer, received a nomination for his music in the Original Score category. Nathan Shelton, theatre and dance alumnus and “Epilogue” makeup effects design supervisor, received a nomination for his makeup effects in the Makeup and Special Effects category.
“Epilogue” was also selected as a finalist for the 2013 Los Angeles Web Festival, an international festival held in March. The Web series will be screened during the four-day festival.
