June bugs on a leaf

Missouri State biologist weighs in on the summer pests.

May 2, 2024 by Strategic Communication

Much is being written about the impending cicada swarm this summer. Though their name would indicate otherwise, the June bugs are already here.

USA Today published a comprehensive round up of professors who spoke to Good Housekeeping, including Missouri State University Assistant Professor of Biology Dr. Avery Russell.
