The Lunar New Year is a celebration where Asian families around the world gather together. This year, the celebration starts Jan. 22 and lasts for 15 days. It’s the Year of the Rabbit.

Dr. Weirong Yan-Schaefer, senior instructor in the department of world languages and cultures at Missouri State University, offers some insights about the Lunar New Year to Lawn Love.
