If a significant live event was posted on Twitter, but no one saw it, did it really happen? Dr. Wayne Anderson, a professor in the department of finance and general business, thinks people need to consider the risks of online interaction before sharing information.
Anderson teaches a course on legal issues in the information technology arena. Much of the class features students who are IT professionals, and the course work focuses on issues such as trade secrets, criminal law and computer hacking.
As a lawyer, mentor and researcher, Anderson stays up-to-date on the latest regulations in the technological industry, which helps influence discussions with students. He exhibits MSU’s public affairs mission by delving into the morality of these technological issues.
