State support is vital in the success of Missouri State University. Resource enhancement programs are thriving because of the funding provided by top Missouri centers.
- Vickie Mattocks, director of financial aid, received a grant in the amount of $25,000 from the Missouri Department of Higher Education for a default prevention plan designed to help students take control of their student loan debt. The funding will go toward creating prevention programs and activities for Missouri State students and alumni.
- A continuing grant in the amount of $106,900 was awarded to the director of the Jordan Valley Innovation Center, Allen Kunkel from the Missouri Technology Corporation. JVIC will use the grant to provide business consulting and development services to individuals and business organizations in Missouri.
- In an effort to guarantee the success of faculty and students of all needs, disability projects coordinator Timothy Lehmann received a continuation grant from Missouri Assistive Technology for the campus Regional Demonstration Center. The $3,000 grant will cover tools, technology and materials to assist Missouri State faculty, students and community with their educational needs.
