Missouri State University releases summer 2014 graduation list
Missouri State University conferred 560 degrees to students at its 2014 summer commencement Aug. 1 at JQH Arena.
A total of 304 bachelor’s degrees, 247 master’s degrees, four specialist degrees and five doctorate degrees were conferred. Beyond the standard expectations, nine students were recognized for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College. Scholastic honors were given to six students who graduated summa cum laude (with grade point average of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale), nine who graduated magna cum laude (with a GPA of 3.75-3.89) and 16 who graduated cum laude (with a GPA of 3.5-3.74).
