University president, representatives to speak at alumni event

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Missouri State University’s Alumni Association will host a MarooNation event for alumni and friends living in Webster County from 6–8 p.m. Feb. 27 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Parish Hall, located at 515 East Washington Street in Marshfield.

A buffet dinner catered by Shelia’s Place will be served and a university update will be provided by President Clif Smart.

Art Hains, voice of the Missouri State Bears, will host a conversational interview with Missouri State Athletics Director Kyle Moats, Football Coach Terry Allen and Baseball Coach Keith Guttin.

“So many loyal alumni and friends live in nearby Webster County,” said Lori Fan, executive director of alumni relations. “This is the perfect opportunity to connect fellow Bears to each other and keep everyone in touch with Missouri State.”

Each guest will receive a Missouri State memento, and door prizes will be awarded. The buffet dinner is $10 per person and is payable at the door or in advance with online registration.

Reservations can be made online at www.alumni.missouristate.edu or by phone at (417) 836-5654.
