Ozarks Public Broadcasting’s commitment to developing and delivering relevant, local content was recognized by the Missouri Broadcasters Association this spring.
Two KSMU reporters received awards:
- Jennifer Davidson won the Special Programs Category for “Around the World, Here at Home.”
- Michele Skalicky won the Feature Reporting Category for “Saving Joplin’s Trees.”
The production staff of Ozarks Public Television received two awards:
- “On the Fast Track: Racing in the Ozarks” won the Sports Category
- “O’Reilly General Hospital: The Hospital with a Soul” won a merit award in the Documentary Category
Maroon Minutes highlight Missouri State University’s points of pride: the accomplishments of our faculty, staff, students and supporters. Each Maroon Minute first airs during a home football or basketball game.
