Mathematics professors receive funding for conference
Drs. Yungchen Cheng and Les Reid, professors of mathematics at Missouri State University, received an award of $1,100 from the Mathematical Association of America for the 2013 MAKO Undergraduate Research Conference.
The ninth MAKO Undergraduate Research Conference will allow undergraduates from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma a chance to present short talks on their research. A cash reward will be given to each presenter and students will have the opportunity to have their work published online proceeding the conference.
