Young writers found inspiration during day of writing

owp-2The Ozarks Writing Project (OWP) invited 500 students in grades 5-8 to the Missouri State University campus for the Youth Writing Conference in May. This day of writing offered young writers and their teachers a chance to participate in engaging writing opportunities that proved to be both challenging and fun.

Sample sessions

OWP teacher consultants led writing activities designed to improve, inspire and ignite student writing. Some of these sessions included:
