MarooNation comes to Webster County
The Missouri State Alumni Association will host a MarooNation gathering for alumni and friends living in Webster County from 6–8 p.m. March 21 at Sheila’s Place, 915 S. Marshall St., Marshfield. The event will feature a buffet dinner and remarks from President Clifton M. Smart III. Art Hains, voice of the Missouri State Bears, will emcee for the evening. A programming highlight will include a conversational interview with Missouri State Athletics Director Kyle Moats and Lady Bears Basketball Coach Nyla Milleson.
“It is exciting to know that we have many loyal alumni and friends living close by in Webster County,” said Julie Ebersold, executive director of alumni relations. “Our goal is to connect fellow Bears to each other and keep everyone in touch with Missouri State.”
Each guest will receive a Missouri State memento, and door prizes will be awarded. The cost for the buffet dinner is $5 per person, payable at the door or in advance with online registration. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling Renee Fogle, event coordinator, at (417) 836-5654.
