Faculty members receive grant for health education program
Dr. Susan Dollar, professor of social work, and Todd Daniel, director of the RStats Institute, received a renewed contract $243,791.21 from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for the abstinence-plus education program in southwest Missouri.
The purpose of the grant is to promote abstinence education in Missouri and support decisions of adolescents to remain abstinent until marriage, especially in areas where rates of teen pregnancy are high.
The contract number for the grant is AOC12380202, and it is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, through the abstinence education contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
