Faculty receives grant for turtle research

Dr. Day Ligon, assistant professor of biology, received his next year of funding of $43,500 from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to continue his project “A Survey of Alligator Snapping Turtles and Other Turtle Species in Three Northeastern Oklahoma Rivers.”

This project is supported and funded in conjunction with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation through the State Wildlife Grant T-51-1.
