Graduate student receives bat biology award
Risa Wright, a biology graduate student at Missouri State University, received the Titley Scientific Award at the 42nd North America Symposium on Bat Research for her paper “The Use of Temperature Gradients as a Possible Mechanism for Energy Conservation in Hibernating Tri-colored Bats.”
The award is for an oral presentation on bat biology with preference given to novel applications or development of technology.
