MSU hosts summit on habitat restoration
Missouri State University will host the Ozarks Summit June 12-14 at Temple Hall on the MSU campus. The topic of the summit is Restoration in the 21st Century.
Workshops topics include:
- Restoration funding
- Conservation easements
- Restoration on private and public land
Missouri State professor of biology Chris Barnhart, along with his colleagues, will be presenting three workshops during the summit. Barnhart and his team will discuss native mussels and their relationship to the restoration of river habitats. Barnhart discusses their research.
