Roy Blunt Jordan Valley Innovation Center celebrates 5th anniversary

Downtown Springfield has undergone many changes during the last five years, but the opening of the Roy Blunt Jordan Valley Innovation Center (JVIC) in 2007 marked one of the biggest changes for the encouragement of economic development in the area.

On June 1, the Jordan Valley Innovation Center will host a five-year celebration from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the facility’s parking lot featuring Senator Roy Blunt along with university and community leaders.

JVIC Director Allen Kunkel discusses some of the projects currently underway at JVIC, as well as plans for the June 1 celebration.
